Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Victor Frolov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edie Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frolov comes to the cage accompanied by Manowar - Holy War. Alvarez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Snoop Dog ft Dr.Dre-Следующи. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez tries to clinch but Frolov moves away
and Frolov counters with a nice body shot.
Frolov digs a good body shot into Alvarez's ribs.
Frolov's jab looks to have found its range, popping Alvarez under the eye.
Frolov lands with a hook. Alvarez tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Alvarez moves to clinch but Frolov breaks away
letting Frolov counter with a right hand.

Frolov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Frolov connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Frolov thows a body shot but no joy.
Frolov takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Alvarez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Alvarez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Frolov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Edie Alvarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frolov wants to land a leg kick but Alvarez is out of range.
Alvarez closes the distance but Frolov moves to the side

and Frolov counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frolov postures up in Alvarez's guard and throws a big left but Alvarez blocks it.

Frolov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Frolov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Frolov wants to work for an arm triangle but Alvarez is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Frolov uses his free foot to push down on Alvarez's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Alvarez.
