Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vitaliq Shunkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Mathers Lll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shunkov comes to the cage accompanied by Gimn kudo. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shunkov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Shunkov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mathers Lll is trying to get back to his feet.
Mathers Lll is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Shunkov stands up.
Shunkov is looking to score with low kicks.
Shunkov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Shunkov dives in and grabs Mathers Lll's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mathers Lll pushes down on Shunkov's head and hops out.
Shunkov closes the distance looking to clinch
and Mathers Lll counters with a stiff right hand.

Shunkov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mathers Lll, pushing him back against the cage.
Shunkov is trying to pull guard but Mathers Lll turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vitaliq Shunkov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A jab-cross combination lands for Mathers Lll and sends Shunkov crashing to the mat! Mathers Lll follows him down to the mat - Shunkov regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Shunkov is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Shunkov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mathers Lll drops Shunkov with a big left hand! Shunkov is injured, injured bad! Mathers Lll jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
