Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Balaska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andy Balaska!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balaska throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Balaska feints a jab promting Harris to slip. Balaska then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Harris slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.


It looks like Bob Harris has been cut.
Balaska throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harris.
Harris goes for a double leg but Balaska avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Balaska continues to drive forward.
Balaska has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Harris fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Balaska is trying to break free.
Balaska tries to circle away but Harris has him pinned against the cage.
Harris tries to pull guard but Balaska won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Harris is trying to break the clinch but Balaska has him pressed against the cage.
Balaska is trying to push Harris away but Harris has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Balaska manages to break the clinch.
Balaska looks to land a combination but Harris avoids it well.
Balaska darts in looking for a takedown but Harris gets double underhooks and turns Balaska into the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Harris is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Harris closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Balaska to the mat! Balaska manages to get full guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Harris lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Harris postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Balaska keeping moving, preventing Harris from controlling successfully.
Balaska has a closed guard, preventing Harris from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Bob Harris just wasn't active enough.
Nice sprawl there from Balaska as Harris shoots in.
Harris shoots in looking for a takedown. Balaska tries to sprawl out of it but Harris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Balaska manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Balaska feints a jab promting Harris to slip. Balaska then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Harris slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Andy Balaska seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Balaska looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Balaska looks to land a combination but Harris avoids it well.
Balaska scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Balaska misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Harris shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Balaska but Balaska pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Balaska checks the leg kick nicely there.
Harris tries to clinch up
and Balaska counters with a series of strikes. Harris will be more careful next time no doubt.
Harris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Harris closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Harris is trying to control. Balaska wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Harris maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Balaska could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Harris has cracked it and Balaska is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Harris!
