Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sho Goon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Dill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dill comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Safri Duo - Played A Live kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sho Goon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goon misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dill clinches up with Goon and pushes him back against the cage.
Dill using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Goon has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
We've been hearing reports that Goon has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Goon tightens his grip and picks Dill up, before dumping him to the ground. Dill manages to land in guard.
Goon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dill is keeping the position for now.
Dill tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Goon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Goon slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Dill tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Dill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Goon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Goon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Dill wants to get back to his feet but Goon drags him back down.
Goon tries to advance to mount but can't.
Goon trying to control the position but Dill is working away.
Goon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dill is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Goon has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Dill is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Goon yanks on the arm and Dill is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Goon.
