Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dirk Diggler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Adriano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Adriano with that takedown attempt.
Adriano fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Adriano throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Diggler's waist but Diggler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Adriano off to one side.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Adriano had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Diggler is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Adriano Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Diggler's back instead.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Adriano tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Adriano has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Adriano is looking to take a break and control but Diggler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Diggler seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well Diggler has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
