Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caiaphas Caine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Punani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Caiaphas Caine!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Punani!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punani throws a lazy uppercut

and Caine counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Punani!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Punani wants to control but Caine postures up.
Punani takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Caine working away.
Punani tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Caine trying to control the action but Punani is working from the bottom.
Caine lands some shots froms side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Punani sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Punani holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Caine throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Caine is trying to work for a kimura but Punani is defending well.

Caine throws a strike but Punani avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Punani manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Caine manages to get himself to full guard.
Caine is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Caine has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Punani can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Punani throws a big elbow that misses.
Caine will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Caine is looking for a triangle here but Punani uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Punani in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Caine is looking to regain half guard here but Punani keeps moving and retains side control.
Punani tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The ground and pound from Punani seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Caine is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Punani lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The strikes coming from Punani are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Caine struggling a bit here.
Caine is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Punani is working Caine over with some ground and pound from side control.


It looks like Caiaphas Caine has been cut.

Caine is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Punani prevents Caine from improving his position.
Caine trying to hold on to Punani's head to control him but Punani postures up.
Punani is stalling here. Caine is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Punani seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Caine has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Caine goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Punani rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Caine's guard! Nice work there by Punani!
Punani is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Punani wants to control from the top but Caine keeps moving.

Caine working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Punani doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Punani manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Punani throws a strike but Caine rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harry Punani dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Caiaphas Caine's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Caine avoids a kick to the body.
Punani tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Caine throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Punani blocks a low kick nicely.
Punani lands a nice leg kick that just misses Caine's sensitive parts.
Punani has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Caine is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Caine pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Caine stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Punani.
Punani throws a leg kick but Caine sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Caine attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Punani fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Caine manages to avoid it.
Caine fails with the takedown.
Punani attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Caine with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Caine misses with a head kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for Punani.
Caine shoots in for a double leg but Punani sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Punani scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Caine doesn't seem bothered though.
Caine on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Punani ducks under a wild hook from Caine.
Punani jabs Caine to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Punani uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.


Caiaphas Caine's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Punani is looking to clinch but Caine is avoiding it.
Punani wants to slow Caine down by chopping away at his legs.
Punani throws a body punch but Caine moves out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Punani throws a leg kick that misses.
Punani scores with a jab to the head.

Punani clinches.
Punani gets through Caine's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.


Jeez, Caiaphas Caine's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Caine's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Caiaphas Caine's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Harry Punani!
Harry Punani seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
