Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Horton Hoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sam Winchester!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hoo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Winchester scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hoo tries for a takedown but Winchester sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Winchester connects with a looping right hand.
Winchester throws a hook to the side of Hoo's head but Hoo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nice sprawl there from Winchester as Hoo shoots in.
Hoo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Winchester to the mat! Winchester manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Winchester is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hoo is aware though and is defending well.
Winchester has his foot on Hoo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hoo works his way back into a safe position though.

Hoo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Winchester's guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hoo lands a nice short elbow.

Hoo is nestled in close to Winchester, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hoo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Winchester sees it coming and defends easily.

Hoo looks up at the clock and then as Winchester takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hoo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Winchester tries to buck Hoo off but Hoo is having none of it.

Hoo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Winchester takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Sam Winchester has been cut.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Winchester can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hoo scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Winchester is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Hoo postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Winchester in real trouble here! The ref calls for Winchester to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
