Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Smet clinches up with Black Jr and pushes him back against the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
De Smet is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Black Jr goes for a takedown in the clinch but De Smet prevents it.
Black Jr blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
De Smet gets through Black Jr's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Black Jr gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Black Jr slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Black Jr looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Black Jr creates some space and throws a big elbow, but De Smet sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Black Jr is trying to get an arm triangle but De Smet is defending well.
Black Jr is working to tighten his grip on De Smet's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. De Smet has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Black Jr is really squeezing tight and eventually De Smet passes out! Black Jr breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Caesar Black Jr!
Caesar Black Jr was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
