The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Easton throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Easton lands with a nice body punch.
Easton seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Easton tries to sprawl but Burn drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Burn wants to work for an arm triangle but Easton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Burn is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Burn is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Easton is just riding it out for now. Burn eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Burn is trying to work for a kimura but Easton is defending well.
Easton tries to get to full guard but Burn has control of the leg.
Burn trying to control the pace.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Easton is not content to let Burn control the position.

Burn tries to pass to full mount but Easton defends it.
Easton preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Burn thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Easton is trying to control but can't.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Burn checks a leg kick nicely.
Easton fails to land with a series of punches.
Burn slips a straight right by Easton.
Burn throws a jab but it's blocked by Easton.
Burn shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Easton as he jumps to the side.

Burn is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Easton's half guard.

Burn is working for a submission of some sort.

Easton wants to control but Burn is keeping busy.
Easton looks like he's trying to stand up.
Easton won't allow Burn to pass to mount.
Easton tries to kick Burn off but Burn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Burn has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Easton defend it? Burn steps over the head and cranks it - Easton is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Burn!
