Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hando Dijkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Leblanc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Leblanc acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leblanc moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Dijkman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Leblanc really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dijkman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dijkman connects with a nice short shot to Leblanc's temple.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Leblanc enables Dijkman to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Leblanc manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Leblanc wants to get back to his feet but Dijkman is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dijkman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Leblanc on his heels. He'll look to pass Leblanc's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
