Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill Clinton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denzel Kurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Denzel Kurt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bill Clinton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Denzel Kurt!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Sergei Dronov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kurt looks to land a body kick but Clinton moved away.
Clinton tries to clinch but Kurt moves out of range.
Kurt throws a combination that misses

and Clinton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kurt's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Kurt pushes Clinton off and gets back to his feet.
Kurt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Clinton was well out of range. Poor timing from Kurt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Clinton looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Kurt should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Clinton is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kurt sees it coming and defends easily.

Kurt makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

and Clinton counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Clinton throws his legs up looking for a submission but Kurt uses it to pass to side control.

Kurt decides to take the fight back to the feet.

and Kurt counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Clinton wants to clinch but Kurt slips to the side
enabling Kurt to counter with a crisp jab.
Clinton has his takedown stuffed
and Kurt counters with a series of strikes. Clinton will be more careful next time no doubt.
Kurt moves out of range as Clinton throws a body kick.
Kurt throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Clinton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Kurt has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Clinton is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Kurt on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Clinton tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A frustrated look appears on Clinton's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Clinton avoids the elbow strike from Kurt, against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Kurt - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Clinton tries to circle away but Kurt has him pinned against the cage.
Clinton jumps guard but Kurt stands there with Clinton around his waist. Clinton gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kurt looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Clinton tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kurt avoids it.

Clinton shoots in for a double leg but Kurt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Kurt in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Clinton has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Clinton moves in looking to clinch but Kurt pushes him off.

Clinton tries to close the distance and clinch but Kurt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kurt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kurt swats away the attempt to clinch by Clinton.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bill Clinton showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Clinton, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
