The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Destroyer enables Reis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Destroyer manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Destroyer has his foot on Reis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reis works his way back into a safe position though.

Destroyer has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Reis has passed into side control.

We've been hearing good reports from Destroyer's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Reis looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Destroyer is fending him off so far but Reis persists. Nope, Destroyer circles away and we're back to standing.

Destroyer looking to break Reis's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Reis remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Destroyer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Destroyer is trying to stick to Reis's back but Reis is turning into Destroyer. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Destroyer's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Reis.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joe Destroyer will probably get the nod.

Julian Reis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Reis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
