Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between De Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinz Tabb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vinz Tabb is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, De Alves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vinz Tabb!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Alves tries to close the distance and clinch but Tabb swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tabb stuffs the takedown attempt from Alves. Alves gets slowly back to his feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Tabb darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Alves shoots for a double leg takedown but Tabb sprawls well. He's pushed Alves's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for De Alves. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Tabb darts in and clinches Alves up against the ropes.

Tabb breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A head kick misses from Alves.
Alves takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Tabb connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Alves throws a lazy right hand but Tabb sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tabb misses with a few strikes there.
Alves takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Alves is breathing heavily.
Tabb sends Alves crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Tabb is motioning to the referee to let Alves up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like De Alves has been cut.
Tabb fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Alves to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Alves looks to clinch but Tabb throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Alves taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
