Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Anstey!
Anstey throws out a powerful jab.
Phaneuf throws a right hand that Anstey ducks under and follows up with a left that Anstey also avoids with ease.
Anstey throws a head kick that misses.
Phaneuf throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Anstey counters with a series of strikes. Phaneuf will be more careful next time no doubt.
Anstey dives in for a single leg takedown but Phaneuf sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Anstey breaks from the clinch.
Phaneuf misses with the combination.
Anstey has managed to clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Anstey counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Anstey throws a series of punches but Phaneuf moves out of range.

enabling Anstey to counter with a crisp jab.
Phaneuf throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Anstey.
Anstey looks to land a combination but Phaneuf avoids it well.
Phaneuf slips a jab and a cross from Anstey.
A punch combination from Anstey misses.
Anstey lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Phaneuf takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Anstey dives in for a single leg takedown but Phaneuf sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corwin Anstey. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anstey is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Phaneuf to keep the fight standing.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Anstey is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Anstey breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Phaneuf misses with a combination
and Anstey counters with an inside leg kick.
Anstey goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Phaneuf throws a left and a right that both miss
and Anstey counters with a crisp one two that drops Phaneuf! Anstey thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Phaneuf to his feet! Phaneuf is in big trouble!
Phaneuf is rocked!
Dion Phaneuf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anstey feints and then cracks Phaneuf's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Phaneuf down.
Phaneuf is still on wobbly legs! Can Anstey finish him?
Dion Phaneuf is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Phaneuf looks winded!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Anstey knocks Phaneuf out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
