Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Howlett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrjez Masson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Howlett kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Time of Dying by Three Days Grace. Andrjez Masson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howlett misses with a jab, cross combination.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Masson has eaten all the pies!
Masson tries to clinch but Howlett is having none of it.
Howlett throws a shot to the body.
Howlett scores with the left hand. Masson knows he should have avoided that one.
Howlett lands with an uppercut that bounces Masson off the cage and back into range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Howlett darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Howlett lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Andrjez Masson has been cut.
Masson is looking to clinch.
Masson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Howlett lands with a big left! Masson is wobbled badly! Howlett comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Masson to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). James Howlett!
James Howlett decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
