Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edward Pattinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pattinson comes to the ring accompanied by Blue (Da Ba Dee) - Eiffel 65. Edward Pattinson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pattinson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Pattinson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Kozlov misses with a body shot.

Kozlov lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pattinson's sensitive parts.

The crowd cheers as Kozlov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pattinson doesn't seem phased though.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kozlov working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Kozlov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pattinson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Pattinson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kozlov defends it easily.

Kozlov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pattinson to the mat! Pattinson manages to get full guard.

Pattinson has his foot on Kozlov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kozlov works his way back into a safe position though.

Pattinson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kozlov doesn't defend quickly enough and Pattinson has managed to lock this one up! Can Kozlov escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Pattinson on a fantastic submission victory.
