Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ray Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Khulet Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones swings for the body but Malapitan moves out of range.
Malapitan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sloppy strikes from Malapitan. Those never looked like landing.
Jones looks to land a combination. Malapitan sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Jones takes a swing at Malapitan's ribcage but misses.
A punch combination from Jones misses.
Malapitan misses with the combination.
Jones takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Khulet Malapitan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malapitan throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Jones counter with a right hand.
A slow jab from Jones misses its intended target.
Malapitan moves away from the strike by Jones.
Malapitan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Jones misses with a wild body shot.
Malapitan is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Jones cracks Malapitan with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Malapitan tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jones pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Malapitan is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ray Jones!
