The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kostov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McFinney looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
McFinney is looking to regain half guard here but Kostov keeps moving and retains side control.

Kostov cracks McFinney with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McFinney tries to lock up and control but Kostov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
McFinney should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Kostov unloads with some vicious shots from mount and McFinney wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Kostov celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
