The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Facebreaker lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Facebreaker.

Facebreaker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lao moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Facebreaker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lao paws at him with a jab and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lao jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Facebreaker manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Lao connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Facebreaker some visible discomfort.
Lao misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Lao works to advance to full mount. Facebreaker defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Lao is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Facebreaker to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Facebreaker shrugs it off.
