Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bryan Blessed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matthews comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Chaos is my life kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Dave Matthews has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Blessed misses.
Blessed misses with the combination.
Blessed throws a right and a left that both miss.
Blessed looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Matthews drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
No joy there for Blessed, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Matthews smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Bryan Blessed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blessed swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Matthews connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Blessed looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Blessed throws a combination. Matthews tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Matthews looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Matthews shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Blessed is trying to defend but Matthews finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
