Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Lee Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantin Bumov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bumov.
Daniels connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Daniels fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Bumov on the side of the head.

Bumov is looking to clinch but Daniels is avoiding it.
A left lands for Daniels.
Daniels takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bumov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Daniels is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bumov defends well.

Daniels looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bumov passes into side control.
A lull in the action here.

Bumov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Daniels knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Daniels tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bumov wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Daniels is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bumov is controlling him well.
Daniels is looking for a sweep.

Daniels knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bumov on the ground.
Bumov postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Bumov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Daniels has escaped the position, nice work there.
Daniels is looking to regain half guard here but Bumov keeps moving and retains side control.
Daniels tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Bumov presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Daniels is trying to escape the mount.
Daniels tries to control Bumov's body but Bumov pushes him off. Daniels squirms to his side and now Bumov has his back!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bumov trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Daniels doesn't escape.
You can see the frustration on Daniels's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

A close round but Konstantin Bumov will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bumov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Daniels lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jimmy Lee Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bumov misses with a takedown attempt - Daniels sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bumov moves out of range as Daniels throws a body kick.

Daniels throws a push kick but Bumov slaps the foot to one side.
Bumov tries to clinch up.
Daniels connects with a body shot that sends Bumov's belly button to the back.
Bumov shoots in for a double leg but Daniels sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jimmy Lee Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konstantin Bumov.

Daniels leaves Bumov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bumov is still on wobbly legs! Can Daniels finish him?
Bumov gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Daniels points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Bumov wakes up just in time to hear Daniels thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
