PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Hogin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mu Talalelei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hogin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is real american. Mu Talalelei looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mu Talalelei!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Talalelei throws a jab but it's blocked by Hogin.
Talalelei swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hogin jabs Talalelei to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hogin throws a head kick but Talalelei moves out of range.
Talalelei does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hogin scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Mu Talalelei has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hogin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Talalelei looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Talalelei really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hogin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Talalelei dodges the ground and pound from Hogin.
Hogin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Talalelei sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Hogin moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Hogin is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Talalelei knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ground and pound from Hogin seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hogin tries to score with some ground and pound. Talalelei controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Talalelei is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hogin connects with a decent elbow.

That has opened up Mu Talalelei's cut even more.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Mu Talalelei's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mu Talalelei's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
