Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fransuave Doobney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bernard Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doobney comes to the cage accompanied by L_TIz# . Silva has chosen Jay Z - Run This Town as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bernard Silva has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Silva duly obliges.
Doobney shoots in but no luck this time.
Silva ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Doobney closes the distance and clinches.
Silva misses with a hook to the ribs.
Silva misses with a punch to the body.
Doobney has Silva pressed against the cage.

Doobney manages to break the clinch.
Doobney shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely.
Silva throws a right hand that Doobney ducks under and follows up with a left that Doobney also avoids with ease.

Doobney shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Doobney showed some decent athleticism there.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Doobney is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Silva defends it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Doobney connects with a nice short shot to Silva's temple.

Silva looks to land a combination but Doobney avoids it well.
Doobney misses with a jab, cross combination.
Doobney tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fransuave Doobney. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Silva enables Doobney to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Silva manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Doobney stands and steps away. Silva gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Doobney's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Fransuave Doobney has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Doobney ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Doobney no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Doobney is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Doobney is working to tighten his grip on Silva's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Silva has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Doobney is really squeezing tight and eventually Silva passes out! Doobney breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
