Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Killah Bee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Green Beret (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bee's entrance music is Wu Tang Killa Beez - Killa Beez. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Killah Bee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Green Beret!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bee misses with a head kick.
Bee darts in looking for a takedown but Beret gets double underhooks and turns Bee into the cage.
Bee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Beret is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bee drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Beret gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Killah Bee. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Beret lands an elbow just above Bee 's eye.

Beret breaks the clinch.
Beret tries a head kick but it misses.

Bee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Beret pinned against the cage. Beret gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Bee closes the distance and clinches up with Beret, looking for a takedown. Bee pushes Beret against the cage but Beret circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Beret tries a head kick but it misses.
Bee dives in for a single leg takedown but Beret sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Bee has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Beret avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bee keeps control of Beret as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Bee has picked Beret up - he's going for a ride! Bee dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Beret regains full guard. Nicely done.
Beret bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bee's guard.

Beret has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bee is proving hard to escape from.
Beret is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Bee wants to sweep but no luck.
Beret wants to stand but Bee is controlling his posture from full guard.
Bee throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Bee throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Bee has a closed guard, preventing Beret from standing up.
Beret pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bee is keeping the position for now.
Beret is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Green Beret has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Beret throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bee's head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A low kick from Bee is predictable there
and Beret counters with a body kick.
Beret has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Killah Bee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beret slips a jab and a cross from Bee.
A chopping leg kick lands by Beret.
Bee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Beret as he avoids it easily.
Bee fails with a takedown attempt.
Bee is breathing heavily.
Bee avoids the head kick by Beret.

Bee dives in for a single leg takedown but Beret sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Beret breaks the clinch.
Beret misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Some wild striking there from Bee.
Bee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Beret's waist but Beret gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bee off to one side.
Beret lands a big head kick that sends Bee to the canvas! Beret follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Green Beret!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Green Beret waved his t-shirt featuring Happy Pills 159Q - Laundry 80%'s logo in front of the cameras.
