The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Gordon gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Gordon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gordon tries to get out of the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kivipelto works to advance to full mount. Gordon defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Kivipelto is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gordon can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Gordon is bucking up trying to escape but Kivipelto cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Kivipelto postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Gordon is out cold - huge knockout for Kivipelto!
