Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between TikaKiyo Yoshiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith drops Yoshiki with a beautiful combination! Yoshiki stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smith is looking for the KO!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Yoshiki is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Smith dives in for a single leg takedown but Yoshiki sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Smith works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yoshiki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Smith is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
