The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes lands a nice hook to Aijala's body. Aijala takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Reyes scores with a jab.
Paulo Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aijala uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reyes.
Aijala throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reyes's waist but Reyes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Aijala off to one side.
Reyes looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Reyes throws an overhand right that lands on Aijala's shoulder, as Aijala tries to avoid the shot.
Reyes throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Aijala stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Aijala fails with a takedown attempt.
A jab lands there for Reyes.
Aijala looks gassed!
A big left from Reyes misses.
Aijala shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reyes pinned against the cage. Reyes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Paulo Reyes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keke Aijala.
Reyes lands a lovely overhand right.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Aijala steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Reyes.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Reyes knocks Aijala out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
