The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a wild combination.
Taylor showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silva.
Horrible takedown by Taylor or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad.
A head kick misses from Taylor.
Taylor fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Taylor is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.

Taylor drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Taylor stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.
Taylor fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Silva decides to take the fight back to the feet.

and Taylor counters with an inside leg kick.
Taylor seems to have got his legs back now.
Kyle Taylor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Taylor shoots in and drives through. Silva sprawls well.
Silva throws an overhand right that has Taylor reeling! Silva follows up with a more punches and Taylor is out cold! This one is all over!
