The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonet throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Dong misses with a right hand
and Bonet counters with a body kick.
Nice straight punches there by Dong. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dong.
Bonet throws a wild body kick that Dong sees coming a mile off.
Bonet scores with a leg kick.
Bonet thows a body kick. Dong tries to catch it but that hurt him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dong avoids the body shot from Bonet.
Bonet misses the shot to the body.
King Kong Dong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No joy there for Bonet, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That kick from Bonet tenderised Dong's leg. Dong is trying to keep his angry face on.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bonet.
Dong misses with a body punch
and Bonet makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Dong moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Bonet takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dong ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bonet moves away.
Bonet thumps Dong with a low kick.

Bonet fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dong has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Dong sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Dong is breathing heavily.
Bonet lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bonet just misses with a punch to the body.
Dong steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bonet. That one must have hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dong moves away from the strike by Bonet.
Bonet scoring well with a low kick there.
Bonet cracks the inside of Dong's front leg.
Bonet connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like King Kong Dong has been cut.
Dong has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bonet finds it's way round the side to connect with Dong's head.

Dong misses with a body punch
and Bonet counters with a slapping leg kick.
Nice body kick there by Bonet.
Bonet lands with a thumping leg kick.

Bonet thows a body shot but no joy.
Dong is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bonet.
Dong rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bonet counters with a nice body kick.
Dong is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Bonet.
Bonet scores with a kick to the body.
Dong takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A chopping leg kick lands by Bonet.
Bonet changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Dong blocks a head kick by Bonet.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bonet.
Bonet throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dong tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bonet was well out of range. Poor timing from Dong.
Dong chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bonet can pounce on him.

Bonet changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bonet lets loose with a powerful body kick. Dong will feel that in the morning.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bonet. That's going to slow Dong down.
Bonet throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Dong has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bonet.
Dong takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bonet buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bonet takes a swing at Dong's ribcage but misses.
Dong takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Both fighters circling a little - Bonet finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Dong shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Dong has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bonet.
Bonet cracks the inside of Dong's front leg.
Bonet fails with a takedown attempt.
Dong takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Bonet digs a good hook to Dong's body.
Bonet tests Dong's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bonet dips to his left and cracks Dong with an uppercut!

Dong is rocked!

King Kong Dong's cut is getting worse.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dong sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Oh Dong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bonet lands a nice hook to Dong's body. Dong takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Dong seems to have got his legs back now.
Bonet fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Dong.
Bonet lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dong's sensitive parts.
Bonet lets loose with a powerful body kick. Dong will feel that in the morning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Back to the action!

Bonet looks to score with a jab to the body but Dong is just out of range.
Bonet swings for the body but Dong moves out of range.
Bonet misses with an uppercut.
Dong misses with a straight right.
Dong catches Bonet with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Dong lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bonet swings widly with a right hand
and Dong counters with a straight right hand.
Bonet cracks Dong with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jab, jab by Dong - just one landing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dong get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Dong stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Bonet runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
