Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mertsi Peltola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otto Kaikkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaikkonen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Duran Duran - WIld Boys. On his way into the cage it seems that Mertsi Peltola has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mertsi Peltola seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peltola scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Peltola jabs Kaikkonen to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Peltola changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kaikkonen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peltola throws a strike aimed at the side of Kaikkonen's head but Kaikkonen avoids it well.
Peltola is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kaikkonen's shoulder. That is not cool.

Peltola has hold of Kaikkonen's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Kaikkonen seems comfortable defending it but Peltola has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Kaikkonen is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kaikkonen is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Peltola couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mertsi Peltola!
A relieved looking Mertsi Peltola thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
