The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wight on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
We've been told by Ondrus's head coaches at LOD Gym Now with StandUP that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wight tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ondrus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Wight has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ondrus.

Nice uppercut lands for Ondrus. That snapped Wight's head back.

Our spies down at at Russian Top Team (elite gym) inform us that Wight has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ondrus is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Wight can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ondrus controls the pace.
