Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcelo Guimaraes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Seamon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guimaraes shoots in looking for a takedown. Seamon tries to sprawl out of it but Guimaraes keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Seamon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Guimaraes wants to sweep but no luck.

Guimaraes is looking to take a break and control but Seamon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Seamon is looking for a sweep. Guimaraes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Guimaraes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Seamon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
