The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kumsaloti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Paige manages to avoid it.
Paige throws a body punch but Kumsaloti moves out of range.
Paige throws a leg kick which misses Kumsaloti's front leg but catches the back leg as Kumsaloti tries to avoid it.
Kumsaloti has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A head kick misses from Paige.
Paige is looking to score with low kicks.
Paige throws a big shot that misses.
Kumsaloti ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Paige lands with a nice body punch.
Kumsaloti scoring well with a low kick there.
Paige tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kumsaloti paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Paige looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kumsaloti has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Paige.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kumsaloti on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kumsaloti looks to land a combination. Paige sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Kumsaloti goes for a takedown attempt but Paige pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Paige forces Kumsaloti back against the cage and clinches.

Paige prevents a takedown attempt there.
Stan Paige has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Manny Kumsaloti.
Kumsaloti wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Kumsaloti's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A nice right hand lands inside from Paige.
Paige throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kumsalotis head.
Paige presses Kumsaloti against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Paige works on Kumsaloti's body with a couple of short punches.

Paige lands a vicious elbow to the side of Kumsaloti's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Paige tries to finish him with strikes but Kumsaloti still seems able to defend himself so Paige steps back and lets Kumsaloti get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
