Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Brinkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thalies Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brinkman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Unsung. Silva has chosen Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing as his entrance music. Thalies Silva acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Good leg kick by Brinkman there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brinkman but Brinkman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Brinkman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brinkman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kevin Brinkman will probably get the nod.
