Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Knott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rakim The Master (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Knott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rakim The Master!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Master shoots in and drives through. Knott sprawls well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Knott is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. The Master doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Knott.

The Master felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jake Knott.
Well Knott has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
