Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Jane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brenden Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Abbott fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jane connects with a looping right hand.
Abbott fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jane.
Abbott lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Good shot there by Jane.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jane blocks a head kick by Abbott.
Jane lands a body shot.
Jane cracks the inside of Abbott's front leg.
Abbott tries to score with a low kick but Jane moves his leg out of the way.
Donk. Jane catches Abbott right on the button with a cross.
Abbott scores with the left hand. Jane knows he should have avoided that one.
Abbott misses with an uppercut.
Abbott avoids the body shot from Jane.
Jane scores with a nice right hand.
Abbott tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jane sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Abbott somewhat.
Jane connects with a good right hand that stumbles Abbott. Abbott circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A decent looking cross lands there for Jane.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Patrick Jane.
