Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roman Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colt Compton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kersikov comes to the ring accompanied by Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Colt Compton enters the ring!

With a record of 10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roman Kersikov!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Colt Compton!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Compton blocks a leg kick.
Compton lands a really nice looking cross but Kersikov seems unphased.
Nice uppercut lands for Kersikov. That snapped Compton's head back.

Kersikov looks for a takedown but Compton sprawls well.
Compton fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kersikov.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Kersikov here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Colt Compton hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
