Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Roen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Storman Norman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rick Roen had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 267.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Storman Norman!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norman misses with a double jab.
Roen darts in trying to clinch
and Norman counters with a series of strikes. Roen will be more careful next time no doubt.
Roen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Roen throws a low kick but it's checked well by Norman.
Norman avoids the head kick by Roen.
Norman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Roen tries to bum rush Norman with a series of wild strikes but Norman uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Norman blocks the body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Norman throws a right hand that Roen ducks under and follows up with a left that Roen also avoids with ease.
Roen is looking to clinch but Norman is avoiding it.
Norman lands an overhand right.
Roen throws a right hand that Norman ducks under and follows up with a left that Norman also avoids with ease.
Roen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Roen throws a nice looking combination but Norman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Roen gets a clinch.
Roen's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Norman's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Norman pushes Roen back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Roen is breathing heavily.
Norman scores with a nice hook to the head.
A short uppercut from Norman.
Norman wants a takedown but no success here.
Norman lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Norman keeps control of Roen as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Norman will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Roen up against the cage.
Norman has a couple of punches blocked by Roen.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Norman lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Roen backwards.
Norman working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Norman is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Roen is defending well.
Norman creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Roen's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Roen drops to his knees and Norman pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Storman Norman!
