The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ball takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Ball misses with a looping right.
Ball on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Ball gets the takedown into side control.
Ball tries to move to mount but Barnes blocks the move with his legs.
Barnes is trying to buck Ball off.
Barnes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barnes tries to get out of the position.
Ball working the strikes but Barnes uses the opportunity to regain half guard.

Ball lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barnes circles away quickly and effectively.

Barnes is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ball is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
