The crowd seem to be enjoying kent's choice of entrance music: Bodies by Drowning Pool. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that james kent was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
kent misses with the combination.
No joy there for kent, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kennedy avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Kennedy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Kennedy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. kent swivels though and keeps the full guard.

kent is looking for a triangle here but Kennedy uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Kennedy has worked his way into a potential kimura here. kent is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Kennedy yanks on the arm and kent is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Kennedy.
