Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dudley Smalls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milo Boyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boyd is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by All of the Lights - Kanye West. Dudley Smalls could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Milo Boyd 's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyd dives in and grabs Smalls's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smalls pushes down on Boyd 's head and hops out.
Smalls throws a big shot that misses.
Smalls will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Smalls does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Boyd has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Boyd misses with a double jab.
Smalls's corner calls for a 1-2. Smalls obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Boyd tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smalls paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Smalls throws a lazy uppercut
and Boyd counters by clinching up.
Boyd is pressed up against the cage. Smalls has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Boyd down to the mat. Boyd avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Boyd tries to move into range but Smalls moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Smalls's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Boyd connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Smalls scrambles back to his feet.
Smalls fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

and Boyd counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Boyd prevents a body shot from Smalls.
Smalls can't get the takedown.

Dudley Smalls seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Boyd counters with a three punch combo that has Smalls backing up. Smalls nods at Boyd to acknowledge the strikes.
Smalls throws a shot from downtown. Boyd moves away and avoids it.
Smalls looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Boyd changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smalls tries to avoid it but Boyd manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smalls to the ground. Smalls escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Smalls lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Smalls.
Smalls is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boyd .

and Boyd moves into the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boyd goes for a takedown in the clinch but Smalls prevents it.
Boyd drops down looking for an ankle pick but Smalls pulls his leg out and moves away.
Smalls looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Smalls lands with a straight right. Boyd didn't see that one coming.
Smalls throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Smalls closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Boyd quickly recovers to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Boyd counters by clinching up.
Smalls tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Boyd 's elbow.

Smalls on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smalls tries to get out of the position.
Smalls knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boyd on the ground.

Boyd postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Smalls looks a forlorn figure.

Boyd is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Smalls to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Smalls shrugs it off.

A very excited looking Milo Boyd rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
