Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duke Raider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Rones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rones moves to clinch but Raider breaks away
and Raider counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rones tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Raider counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Ron Rones has been cut.
Rones fails in his attempt to clinch.
Raider thuds his right hand into Rones's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Rones shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Raider as he avoids it easily.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Ron Rones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Rones tries to move to mount but Raider blocks the move with his legs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rones misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Raider stops Rones from passing to mount.

Rones is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Raider looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rones gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Raider is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rones lets go of the hold and Raider can pop his arm back in it's socket.
