The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva gets caught napping as Barrionuevo dives in and scores a takedown. Silva manages to retain guard.
Silva wants to stand but Barrionuevo is controlling the position.
Barrionuevo controls from within his opponent's guard.
It looks like Barrionuevo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Barrionuevo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Silva is keeping the position for now.
Silva is looking to stand up but Barrionuevo isn't so interested in that idea.

Juilo Barrionuevo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Barrionuevo takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Barrionuevo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Silva's guard.
Barrionuevo is standing up over Silva. Silva looks to escape but Barrionuevo dives into side control.
Barrionuevo has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Silva wants to get back to his feet.
Barrionuevo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Silva can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Silva is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Barrionuevo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Silva takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barrionuevo sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Silva is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Barrionuevo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barrionuevo on the ground.
You get the feeling that Silva really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Barrionuevo quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Barrionuevo but it's paid off an Silva is forced to tap! Nice work by Barrionuevo.
