Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Wiggers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiggers tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wiggers throws the kick towards the body but Duncan avoids it.
Horrible takedown by Duncan or perhaps it was just good defense by Wiggers which made him look bad.
Duncan is looking to clinch.

Duncan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Wiggers stays in close to Duncan's body and controls the position.
Wiggers won't allow Duncan to get back to his feet.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Shane Wiggers hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Duncan is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Wiggers has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Duncan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wiggers is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Duncan will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Wiggers decides to stand back up.

Duncan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Duncan is pressed up against the cage. Wiggers has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Duncan down to the mat. Duncan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Duncan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wiggers.
Wiggers shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duncan but Duncan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wiggers dives in and grabs Duncan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Duncan pushes down on Wiggers's head and hops out.

Wiggers tries to bum rush Duncan with a series of wild strikes but Duncan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Duncan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wiggers fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Duncan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wiggers looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Duncan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wiggers can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sonny Duncan.
Well Wiggers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
