The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dos Santos pinned against the cage. Dos Santos gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
McGregor tries for a takedown but Dos Santos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
McGregor closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dos Santos circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hector McGregor. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Dos Santos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Dos Santos will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Dos Santos turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips McGregor off and cradles Dos Santos's limp body as McGregor celebrates with his corner.
