Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drmitrij Medvedj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jazuda Urma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jazuda Urma!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urma tries to clinch but Medvedj is having none of it.

Urma throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Medvedj shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Medvedj is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Urma has managed to free his arm - good work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Urma should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Drmitrij Medvedj.
Medvedj misses with a few strikes there.
Medvedj displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Urma.

Urma working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Medvedj doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Medvedj manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Urma misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Urma throws a head kick but Medvedj moves out of range.

Medvedj changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Urma tries to avoid it but Medvedj manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Urma to the ground. Urma escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Urma stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Medvedj swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Urma shoots in but Medvedj avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Medvedj closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Medvedj lands in his opponent's guard.
