Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Samson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tallak Hrolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Samson comes into the arena with The Venture Brothers Opening Theme blaring out of the sound system. Brock Samson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Tallak Hrolf 's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Samson is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hrolf is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hrolf has escaped and now he's on top!

Samson has his foot on Hrolf 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hrolf works his way back into a safe position though.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Samson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hrolf has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hrolf and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hrolf will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Samson shoots in looking for a takedown but Hrolf manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Samson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Hrolf looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Samson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
