Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mason Watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Langston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Watson comes to the cage accompanied by How Much For One Rib?. Langston has chosen Al Kapone - You Ain't Stoppin Me as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mason Watson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Langston!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langston keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bobby Langston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Watson takes a swing at Langston's ribcage but misses.

Langston throws out a loose jab but Watson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Watson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Langston parries the strikes from Watson easily there. Watson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Langston to escape.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Langston is pressed up against the cage. Watson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Langston down to the mat. Langston avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Langston throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Langston clobbers Watson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.


It looks like Mason Watson has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Langston takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

I was talking to Watson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Watson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Langston is keeping busy.
Watson has Langston pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Langston manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mason Watson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Watson here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Langston pushes Watson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Langston creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Watson with a big uppercut! Watson tries to clinch up but Langston pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Watson to the mat! Watson covers up and Langston unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Bobby Langston!
