Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sosthene Ndikumana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patro Vazduh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vazduh ducks under a wild hook from Ndikumana.
Vazduh wants to clinch but Ndikumana slips to the side
and Ndikumana counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Ndikumana circles away from the clinch attempt
and Ndikumana counters with an outside leg kick.
Ndikumana swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Vazduh throws an overhand right that lands on Ndikumana's shoulder, as Ndikumana tries to avoid the shot.

and Ndikumana connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The fight stays on the outside here - Vazduh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ndikumana connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Vazduh's hands.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ndikumana throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vazduh stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Vazduh has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Vazduh closes the distance but Ndikumana moves to the side

Ndikumana lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Vazduh tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Ndikumana counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Ndikumana fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vazduh.
Vazduh loads up on a big right hand but Ndikumana slips the punch.
Vazduh tries to close the distance and clinch but Ndikumana swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Ndikumana holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Ndikumana breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ndikumana slips under a jab from Vazduh.
Ndikumana throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Ndikumana tests Vazduh's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Vazduh ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ndikumana moves away.
Ndikumana connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vazduh momentarily.

Vazduh is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ndikumana.

and Ndikumana counters with a stiff right hand.

Ndikumana cracks Vazduh with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Vazduh looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Ndikumana finish him?

Vazduh is rocked!
Vazduh is aggressively charging in as Ndikumana backs up avoiding any damage. Ndikumana tosses out a jab and Vazduh runs right into it face first! Vazduh is out cold! Ndikumana dropped down on all fours and is barking in Vazduh's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
