Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ben Liften Jr!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liften Jr is looking to clinch but Jack is avoiding it.

Liften Jr throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Jack blocks it with crossed arms.

so Jack counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Jack is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Jack seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Liften Jr for as long as he can get away with.

We're going to have a standup here because Oliveer Jack wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Liften Jr creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jack's defenses.

Liften Jr's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
The crowd are getting on Liften Jr's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Liften Jr takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Jack is pressed against the cage. Liften Jr pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Jack! Two more big strikes from Liften Jr and Jack crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ben Liften Jr!
Ben Liften Jr bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
